Hawzah News Agency- Speaking on the Al-Kawthar program "Child Martyrs of Minab, the Voice of the Ummah's Oppression," the Turkey-based Palestinian activist delivered a passionate address on the responsibility of the Islamic Ummah toward the atrocities committed against the children of Gaza and Minab.
Korpinar sharply criticized the passive approach encouraged among some Muslims. "For years, we have been told: do not read about the Israelis, do not investigate, just pray, sit at home and mind your own business. This was the 'drug of lethargy' that caused the Islamic world to fall behind in technology. But fortunately, recent advances in the defense industries of Iran and Turkey have, for the first time, deeply alarmed the enemy. So, we must wake up."
Pointing to the thousands martyred simply for declaring "Allahu Akbar, Ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh" and for defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque, she asked: "How is it that we close our eyes to these crimes? Do we simply soothe our consciences by praying and occasionally sending a little money? This is not right. We must turn to 'practical prayer.'"
She highlighted the devastating condition of wounded Palestinian children. "We see children whose hands and feet have been severed, with only their torsos remaining. Thousands of children have been amputated and need prosthetic limbs. But even if we provide prosthetics, who will bring back their mothers, their fathers, their memories? Can the ruins of their dreams be rebuilt? How does such deep trauma ever heal?"
The Palestinian activist posed a fundamental question: "How do we remain silent in the face of such oppression? All those who stay silent before these crimes, while possessing the ability to speak, bear at least as much responsibility as Israel and America. I believe the greatest problem of the Islamic world is not a lack of intelligence, but a lack of 'Islamic consciousness.'"
Drawing on the sacrifices of the Prophet's companions, she said: "Did the Holy Prophet and his companions not spread Islam with their lives and their wealth? Today, the journalists of Gaza embody the spirit of those companions. They teach humanity lessons even in their martyrdom. People on the streets of Britain, Spain, America and many other countries have woken up, and no one can deceive them anymore."
Korpinar recounted his own experience. "I am among those who set out to reach Gaza — from Tunisia to Cyprus. But when I returned to Turkey, I faced a horrific online lynch mob because the Zionists have infiltrated among us. Some of them came to Turkey years ago and changed their surnames and their religion. As long as social media remains in their hands, countering their psychological operations is not easy for us."
She called on Islamic countries to establish their own independent social media platforms. "WhatsApp, Instagram and YouTube are all in Zionist hands. WhatsApp recently made a huge financial donation to Israel. From the food industry to cosmetics, technology, medicine — whatever you can think of, they have infiltrated every sector. But do we consider God's power insignificant against theirs? God says: 'And Allah is the best of planners.'"
Citing the Holy Quran, Korpinar stated: "God does not permit believers to sit silently in the face of the oppression inflicted upon their brothers in faith. We will never ignore jihad. Islam did not promise us paradise in this world; being a Muslim means knowing that this world is temporary. Death is not distant from us — I could die right now in my own home. But I do not want such a death. By God's will, I want to be a martyr."
She concluded by addressing the deliberate targeting of children and women. "Why do they target children? To commit genocide against Muslims and reduce their population. They want to kill women and children so that Muslims cannot reproduce and will eventually surrender. No, this will not happen. God will complete His light, but He demands zeal and effort from us. They are killing Muslims not only with weapons and bombs, but with food products, baby diapers, toilet paper, sterilizing drugs and dietary supplements — and they take our money while doing it. Every Islamic country must produce its own local goods and consume as little from them as possible. Do we not have intellect? Does God not repeatedly ask in the Quran, 'Do you not reason?' We too, relying on our intellect and talent, like Ibn Sina and Al-Khwarizmi, can shine and produce."
